A quote from the Link below

Quote
More action sought
Even though a decision on Jordan Brown's guilt or innocence will be made Friday, Jack Houk, father of Kenzie Houk said he hopes the case won't end with Judge John Hodge's ruling.
On Thursday, he called for authorities to follow up a juvenile adjudication by holding Jordan Brown's father accountable for giving him unsupervised access to the shotgun used to kill Kenzie.
"I won't be happy unless the state presses charges against Chris," Jack Houk said.

Hm, what if they bring this to trial and they find out that it wasn't Jordan's weapon; Well, I think they will have a problem than!
Interesting they have to bring more evidence than in Jordan’s trial to convict his dad. So it’s interesting if the DA will bring this to trial. If the DA is not willing, they have in my opinion no evidence!

Interesting and not at all surprising.  It is not surprising how they try to make the dad so vocal and hide the BIGGEST MOUTH around.

1.  My question here is.... is Jordan being found "delinquent" by the Judge all that is required to charge Chris.??

2. If the finding of "delinquency" was only based on "probability" and not actual proof of the gun being used, are they required to bring in evidence that would disprove the gun was actually used?  Or is the "probability" of guilt, enough to chart Chris?

3.  If they have to bring in more evidence to prove the gun was not used, this makes no sense as it disproves the initial finding of delinquency, but this is Lawrence County....anything goes, I suppose.  However, if they can just charge a father of a child found "delinquent", then isn't this a "selective" prosecution.  I mean, in all seriousness, every parent should  then be charged when their children are delinquent or found guilty in a court of law, when they are underage...?

4.  If you recall, the D.A. initially said he was "not" charging Chris.  So is this not a double standard?  I think the underlying incentive of he victim's family is focused on "money".   Too bad they discovered the x-lover was not the biological father of one of the children the victim had prior to meeting Chris, maybe they could have still collected child support from him.

If he really does it,  here in Germany his dad would be the only ones who were charged, parents are 100% responsible for their children until they are 14.

I can't tell you for sure, but in Spain anyone under the age of 14 does not have criminal responsability. Now again,I have not heard of any case in spain in wich a child so young has been accused of murder. I haven't heard of any younger than 14.

There was recentely one about a 12 year old girl who confessed to the police to have killed a little boy pushing him through the window, but the police believe she is covering up for her parents that were drug addicts. The parents were arrested. She can not be charged with a crime but she was put under custody for the state, not jail. we haven't heard anything else about it, because being a minor involved there is a gag order on the case.
