That reminds me, I seen her on CNN this morning being interviewed on the Martin case. She looks terrible. No amount of makeup cannot disguise this facet of Ms. Corey's figure. She or her folks would be the last people one would want anytwhere near this case. This case has the potentional of setting off the African-American community in Jacksonville than that case in LA involving the wonton beating of one man named Rodney King. Whereas the King Case did not involve murder, this case is just as emotional stack of dynamite just waiting for a fuse and a flame to set it off. Look at how much more attention this case has generated compared to Christian's case! Angle is walking a tightrope while playing Russian Roulette with the area's persecuted minority population. She is also part of the problem. No amount of digging would suffice to just file murder charges against that man who shot a teenager over just being a black kid in a white neighborhood at the wrong time of the night.

And so what will the white community react if and when the murder charges are filed? Not much at all, but the black community would celebrate. However, having Ms. Corey prosecute the guy in court is just inviting a possible aquittal on self-defense grounds. Her very overcharging of Christian Fernandez could be used against her in this case on grounds that the defendant committed an act that was like Christian's: not planned, but spur of the moment. The defense would claim Fernandez's overcharging as proof that the same occured to them. No amount of backpedaling would prevent this being the reason for a "not guilty" verdict from what could be a twelve-person jury with hardly any non-white members on it, for Angle would not trust them out of spite. The aquittal of the murderer is most likely to spark wild anger among Jacksonville's minority population.

Ms. Corey, any adverse events that result in a non-charging of the suspect or the "not guilty" verdict widely expected if and when this man is arrested for first-degree murder, will be blamed on you. Any protests that turn violent and disruptive would be blamed on you as well. If you do not want this on your hands, I suggest to reassign the case to a member of your staff or at least not let race yet again determine the fate of another city.

I do not know how prone Jacksonville is to something getting set off be this incident, but the way Jacksonville politicians paint this situation is not helping pacify a potentional showdown over race in this town since the Sit-Ins of the early 1960's. While I highly discourage riots due to its inability to foster any change in the rioter's lives, there is no way to predict when and how the minority community takes it if things do not happen to sate their thirst for vengence. I almost asked when the last time a community of whit people got upset at a black person killing a white person due to their skin color! It is that double standard. When a white person is killed by a black person over their race, the white community is silent. Howver when it is the other way around, everyone from Jesse Jacson to Al Sharpton to Oprah Winfrey seek justice for [insert victim here] or it would result in a upset community on the verge of looting and beatdowns of any person they can blame collectively for their buried rage. The way Angle gored a large hole into her populace by sending a whole lot more black people to jail during her reign, it would not be a nice sight. (Now why doesn't this does not happen to the white community after an adverse verdict?)

BTW what type of things warrent such charges and two adult trials? These prosecutions are politically motivated and nothing to do with the case, but more to do with the boy's ethic background. As we should say again and again, this outrage would never had happened if he was white.
