This is a portion of the upcoming show with Colt Lundy. He talks about how the press made him into a cold blooded killer and says he is not that person. Neither of the boys will talk about the details of the crime with any media. I still seriously wonder about Colt's father being involved. Does anyone else suspect that?

In their opinion, the more they defend their actions, the more offended the people that demonized them become. These people who put them there do what they do for their kicks. The press in many capital case are "closet sadists" and want the public to behave in the same way.

In my opinion, Colt and Paul Henry could be my age before they ever see the light of day. It is just the way of the world. It is how it was meant to be for the Godless, Heathen Society that we all live in. It is one that defends lowlifes and drug dealers. It is the one that demonize the person just because they are a little different or does not have enough money to defend themselves.

The prosecution and the family of the victim simply refuse any form of forgiveness unless it involves the death of the criminal. And in their world they do not give a damn about the age of the crook, they want them locked up forever and ever and ever. They want them to die in prison no matter what. They simply do not care, Melissa. They just do not care. They want to ruin a life that has just begun. To them, these kids are throwaway kids.

I do not want to see that thing that is on MSNBC. It will not change a thing for Colt or Paul, period. It only makes people rail more for punitive laws to lock them up and throw away the key. Only through the courts and the ballot box, will we ever change the system.

If their is a judge or a peace officer who support an idea we hate in our location, one should heavily support their opponent. If we have a legislator who cannot do what we want the him/her do to change our lives, we find someone else. Politicians will listen only when they come close to losing their jobs.

But the public is being brainwashed by the so-called media. What difference is this going to make if they cannot hear us over the shouting of the TV or radio?

I think a show like that raises awareness. There are people who don't even know what is going on and won't fight for change because they don't know it is needed. The fight can't be won in the ballot box if people A) don't realize there's a problem and B) rely on the very limited information out there about any of these cases.

Nothing will happen if people remain uneducated. That much I know.

I agree.  Knowledge brings change.  It can't stop with the show either.  The public will need repeated reminders of what exactly is going on or change will never occur.  How that can happen requires serious money, and creativity.  Commercials? Awareness needs to brought into every facet of politics or nothing will get done.  What we really need is someone to speak at the House of Representatives.  Continued awareness needs to be allocated to the right people with a clear plan and picture of the waste of money and the inhumane way we react to undeveloped children involved with the criminal system.  Melissa, I think you would be a great spokeswoman.  Dan Daley is also so well read in this area along with so many others.  It seems like the time is right for this change. So many cases are highlighted that brought the issue to the forefront of the political arena. They do not want it there but this the perfect time to force it on them.

Okay. But I had to raise the doubt out there that no matter how many times the story is told, it is the people who are uneducated that sometimes make the rules. The pol depend on a fickle, dumb sheep-like public in order to spread their evil.

Just look at the twin towers of terror, Gov. Perry in Texas and Gov. Corbett of Pennsylvania. They used the stupidity of their locale's voters to get into power. These clowns depend on the ignorence of the public in order to execute and/or lock up people.

Just about every GOP governor in this country does the same thing. They are the bully all grown up. Fear and hatred keeps them in power.

Now the Governor of Indiana might have have to in the end have to intervene in a case like Colt Lundy and Paul Henry Gingrich. I have no faith that the courts will ever reduce or pardon them. Not as long as we have judges and prosecutors that drag their feet or shut their ears to mercy or reason!

Melissa I do believe as well that Colt's father might have something to do. Is just a feeling. I hope this show makes people to realise how wrong it is to do this to children. I don't think I'll be able to watch it and I would really like to watch it. There is a way I can access to it on the net maybe?

There are many ways to get this show. MSNBC has a channel on SiriusXM, which runs their audio part of their channel just about all the time. Unless preempted on weekend afternoons or select evenings for sports programming, this could be a possibility. You can also watch their show on the Net at their website. Who knows, I think Youtube has run a lot of NBC stuff. Hulu has done some NBC shows. Some cable and satellite TV systems have MSNBC shows on their On Demand channel listings.

I on the other hand will wait until it hits Youtube since this show airs at the wrong time: Sunday Night Football. Sad

I still think the law violated these boys greatly. They charged them as adults. Then they did not buy the fear these kids have of this man they killed. It was either them or Danner.
