Before I sign off for the night, I would like you to look at how my earlier posts on this case is either coincidence or foreshadowing. Light a fire under a government and more data comes out that further puts the fear to the Jefferson County prosecutor that to try Josh Young would amout to the biggest mistake of his life. Just look what happened to the lead prosecutor in the Duke case with the athletes and the lying stripper. Though Mr. Gouker would not make a good stripper, his misstatements to the cops are just like the stripper in the Duke case, a little big to be believed, however the lapse between last summer and now has shown how false this case has become. Sometime before this year is out, it will be Gouker facing first degree capital murder and not Josh Young.
It is time to fix this long before October. It is high time to free Josh Young before it is too late for your reputation, Mr. Prosecutor. Allowing a dad to lie to imprison his son is a unforgivable offense. Not filing kidnapping charges quick enough is another mistake. Allowing an innocent boy to rot in jail almost a year without trial is an even bigger sin.
The perfect father's day gift that can be done in this sordid case is to free the son and charge the father with murder. Shock the world with how a father just out of prison used a sleazeball lawyer to gain custody of his son, abuse him relentlessly and then killed his stepson to get back at both Little Josh and Amanda all at the same time. I know it sounds like something out of the Twilight Zone, but once you rule out Josh Young being at anytime that night and place Big Josh, Amanda and Trey Zwicker in or near that high school that night, one can conclude that Little Josh could not have done the killing to cover up his part helping Trey smash car windows that night or any night for that matter.
If there was any smashed windows, where are all the cooresponding police reports related to area vandalism of cars that night, for if that is the reason they were outside that night on foot (try holding a bat on a bike lol), some poor sap had to gotten his vehicle dented and smashed. If there were no cars smashed between 11:30 p.m. and 1:00 a.m., you know that Josh Young was not out there?
We know Trey somehow got outside the house, maybe to smash cars or shoot the crap with his so-called friends or maybe to smooch with a girl.
We can assume that at no time did Josh Young or his step-sister left the house or interacted afterwards with Cassie Gouker. Otherwise Young would have been tired as all get out in the morning. Such behavior would had been noted at school, if indeed cops interviewed anyone from Fern Creek High School about the boy.
Gouker and Amanda were outside too. Once they realized Trey was outside as well, they took off after him. As I said in other posts, one thing leads to another. Gouker had plotted during his stint in prison or shortly after to do in Amanda and his son, Little Josh at the same time with some type of trouble. Nothing fell into place until the night of the tenth of May of 2011. Somehow all the planning fell into place.
The first step was to hook up with Amanda. Like many abused women, she thought Gouker was a changed man with his prison stint and took him back despite the abuse she suffered from him over the years before the incident that landed him in prison. She would have visited him in jail. She would accept his calls. And they wrote each other. All the while, Gouker never thought of changing his abusive behavior. As his wife, he thought he had a right to mark her body without fear of jail.
The second step was getting some sleezy lawyer to petition the court to grant him custody of his son. Josh Young was orphaned by his mom's suicide and Big Josh would never consent to any adoption or anyone even caring for the boy other than he and his wife. Amanda and her kids made for a ready-made family to show the court just how he would be a good daddy. In March, two months before the murder, a judge was foolish enough to grant Gouker his request. (Shame on her!)
The third step is to systematicly destroy everyone in the paper family. He wanted to make his son into something he was not: a bad person. He wanted to corrupt them with offensive materials. That failed. He wanted to show off his sexual perclivities to Little Josh. It not only failed, it backfired with the missed school and petty crime. The final straw would be the antics of Trey Zwicker. Somehow, Gouker hit on that plan the night of the murder. He knew Trey was going to sneak out that night somehow as he did multiple times before. Somehow, Gouker lied to Amanda about what he was going to do to her son!
Gouker was obviously a ticking time bomb of rage about to go off in the parking lot outside Liberty High School. I think Trey had the bat with the intention of joining some friends in some petty vandalism or maybe to catch that big turtle that the he and the other kids found earlier that evening. I do not know what he was doing there with that bat that night. When Trey defied them, Gouker somehow became physical. He finally snapped as he did all those times before. Being stronger and meaner than Trey, the man was able to force the bat from Trey and into his possession. Before Trey could get away, Big Josh wolloped him in the back of the head with the bat. This could explain the big gash in his head. I do not know how many blows Gouker inflicted, but any other injury suffered by the fourteen-year-old boy would be consistant with a stuggle for the bat. Gouker could have had one hand in the bat and flailed Trey with the other hand. Once he had full control, Trey tried to run, but Gouker was quick to strike him. If Amada tried to intervene at any point, Gouker either threatened her or smashed his fist into her face, stunning her. All I know is that boy perhaps had his head smashed from behind by a strong man of thirty-one years old with a history of violent behavior toward other people and animals over the course of his life. Trey may have had other blows from the bat while down on the ground or when he stuggled to keep the man getting the bat from him. Somehow all such evidence of a fight in the parking lot or near the area they found the boy's body was obliterated or ignored by police or someone else. Maybe with the weather and the traffic in and out of the parking lot over the next twelve or so hours, the evidence of the attack vanished under the normal movements of life itself!
Gouker then picked up the boy and dumped him where his body would be found about twelve hours later alongside that creek in that wooded area. However, if you look at the evidence, the body was not even moved to the morgue for another six or seven hours, from the time of discovery to the time of removal to the morgue by the lab people. I cannot understand such tactics.
Gouker and Amanda come around shortly after the news spreads of the body found at the high school. They then give the cops the beginning of the false info to cover their action. Though the cops noticed the abuse on Amanda, it is easily explained away.
Then Gouker begins his charade after he leaves the scene of the crime that afternoon. He plays the LPD like a fine violin over the next month. Once he thinks they get too close to charging him that June, he takes off like a scared puppy with Little Josh alongside him. He violates his parole by doing so. Kidnapping charges should have been filed the moment he violated parole and took his son. The custody would automaticly revert back to CPS and the boy should have been taken from Gouker and back in foster care. But this was not the case. The boy was returned from Alabama and no charges filed by Jefferson County or any other jurisdiction for his "crimes".
Once the state had the boy, then they should had Gouker bound for transfer on kidnapping and parole violations. Madison wanted Gouker for his incident there with the woman he kidnapped. This is when Gouker lies about Josh killing Trey to Madison police.
Detective Russ and company badgered Little Josh about the murder. He thought Gouker was telling the truth because of what Little Josh told the cops before he vanished. Russ confused Little Josh's statement made a month earlier as a lie when in fact it was Gouker who lied to him, backed by the enabling antics of Gouker's cousins, who he also interviewed shortly after Gouker made his incriminating statements. (Even though Gouker, Cassie and John plotted stategy and disposed incriminating evidence in the time after the murder shortly after Gouker and Amanda changed clothes and went on the run to the gas station.) Didn't Cassie talk to Gouker after he was captured in Alabama?
Detective Russ took Gouker's words as gospel. The case was making a monkey out of him and his people since day one. If he was not blinded by his lust to solve the murder, he would had used his head and told Gouker that he could not believe him. Somehow he did believe him. Though, looking at Gouker's rap sheet and his one should always approach Gouker like he is not to be believed without clear, concrete evidence. Somehow, Little Josh could not prove he was not outside the house with Trey that night. Had he somehow documented that he was at the house that night while Trey was being killed, Gouker would be the one charged now.
Somehow the cops are backed by a prosecutor who was misled by the very false evidence as well. In his flawed logic, charging Josh Young was easier than to charge Josh Gouker, who until October was harder to obtain than a Hornus Wagner baseball card. They reasoned that Little Josh presented an easy target to scapegoat and easily force into prison for the rest of his life. One big happy jailbird family! It was if the prosecutor and the cops were total morons who could not find their way out of a corn maze.
It stumps me why cops arrested the boy and put him behind bars that June, weeks after the adventure. Then they waited over five months before they even charged him in front of a Grand Jury. It is even cowardly to have a trail in October of this year when most cases of this ilk are over by that time. Better yet, Kentucky did not even get their meat hooks on Gouker until October of 2011 after Alabama released him by mistake. Indiana then had him for awhile for some other crimes he was accused of or convicted of. Then by happenstance, Kentucky sweet-talked the Indiana boys to handing over Gouker to them.
All the while, Cassie and her boyfriend robbed some stuff from Amanda sometime that summer. Try to tie that to the muder!
This is a major miscarriage of justice that must be solved with a big correction by the state to drop all charges against Josh Young and allow the only home that wanted him to allow him a life in freedom from those trashy people who use deceit, lies and willing people to be lead astray other people by their blind pursuit of a boy whereas the real murder suspect is already in prison, but can get free at any time after this year. Before this year is out, much less, before this summer is out, we must get the courts to free Josh Young and charge Gouker with murder, tampering with evidence, perjury, intimidating witnesses and obstructing justice. This would preclude any attempt at the object of his lies: freedom. He should be made an example of to other crooks by sentencing him to die in prison, not in the chair. Give Gouker the same LWOP sentence he was going to give to his son. Maybe that would loosen his lips, hoping that the court would be merciful.
This may have been a review, but so much has happened. I had to write this.
